So NBC-Universal and FOX have set up this great web site called ‘Hulu” where you can watch tons of your favorite programs online. It sounds great! The library is huge.
Live outside of the U.S.? You’re not going to see anything. But you won’t know that until you try to watch something specific. You can look, but don’t dare to “play” anything!
Their web site says they are working to secure agreements to be able to make the shows available but that is not likely to happen since that means getting permission for each and every show. Is Hulu going to take the time and money to do that? Not too likely.
What is likely to happen, if anything, is that some countries will get their own versions of Hulu, with their own local content only. So if you live in Canada, you’ll get things like Corner Gas.
As the Internet revs up for the future, if you don’t live in the U.S., you’re going in neutral instead of Drive.
